Carl Roberts Joins Central Ohio InfraGard as Vice President
Carl Roberts has joined Central Ohio InfraGard as Vice President.
Mr. Roberts’ current role for Franklin County encompasses an all-hazard approach to strategic initiatives, operational information sharing (COP), and technical/tactical Homeland Security coordination with local, state, and federal partners.
Carl spent 23 years with the military, retiring as an Army Captain in the Military Police Corps. During his service as a Military Officer, he spent several years assigned to the Weapons of Mass Destruction Civil Support Team (WMD-CST), the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), and the Homeland Response Force (HRF). His last role was as a division level planner for overseas interoperability and counterterrorism exercises for NATO partners and Balkan States.
Carl has successfully completed certifications as an Ohio Paramedic, Tactical Paramedic, Flight Paramedic, EMS Instructor, Firefighter II, Peace Officer, and HazMat Technician. He has also completed courses within the Homeland Security and Homeland Defense arena, from DNWS, FBI, DOE, ATF, USAMRIID, NORAD, NORTHCOM, and DOD Special Operations.
Carl holds a Masters Degree from Penn State University in Homeland Security, and plans to matriculate into a doctoral program in Public Administration/Homeland Security this fall.
